Matt Kaminsky is a Washington, D.C.-based freelance photojournalist covering politics, breaking news, sports, and major events across the United States and internationally.

Originally from Boston, where he began his career, Kaminsky has more than seven years of experience working in photojournalism.

His work has been distributed internationally through the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA), Sipa USA, and ZUMA Press, with photographs published by outlets including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, People, The Guardian, The Times, the New York Post, El País, and Al Jazeera.

Kaminsky is credentialed to cover the White House and the U.S. Capitol. His international experience includes reporting from Israel, where he completed a five-month photojournalism internship with Jerusalem News Syndicate (JNS) and covered major regional news events, including the early stages of the Israel-Iran conflict.

A graduate of Curry College with a degree in multimedia journalism, Kaminsky is available for editorial assignments in Washington, D.C., nationwide, and internationally.
